MWH Culture
MWH's mission is essentially to support our clients in accomplishing their projects in the best way possible.
Our starting point is a full understanding of the business case for the project. We establish our clients' needs from the outset, and we then focus on understanding what they require from the design process and the construction supply chain. Our confidence in advising on the cost implications of our clients' requirements, from the earliest stages, rests on our extensive experience, data, and specialist knowledge. We remain constantly alert to what delivers value for our clients. Our service is therefore about coordinating mutual interests and thinking as part of the design team, helping to secure the client’s objectives within the team’s proposed solutions. We have a track record for successfully engaging with stakeholders and developing them as an asset by ensuring that their own are aligned with the aims and objectives of the project. MWH has a track record of successfully negotiating with and where appropriate, integrating third party stakeholders such as tenants, local authorities, planning authorities, statutory undertakers, highway authorities, NGOs, and various legal departments as well as the people and consultants employed both directly and indirectly by the client. We maintain good relationships between the team and our client, working closely together to identify a single set of project objectives, cost and design control, decisive change management and prompt identification and resolution of all issues The refurbishment of existing buildings presents unique challenges. Successful outcomes turn on good communication, updating users, and building management on progress. We have a clear understanding of current health and safety issues, together with sensitivity to staff and neighbours. When we are working in occupied premises, stringent permit to work procedures is implemented to minimise any threat to business continuity or staff safety during the construction phase of the project. |
