John Hayward MRICS
Director

John has 40 years experience in the construction industry. He was elected a Professional Member of Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors in 1980. John joined Monro White Hilton in 1985 and appointed Director in 1990.

John has acted as Quantity Surveyor and Project Manager on numerous projects for commercial organisations and the public sector including UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office.

Graham Wrightson MAPM, MCIAT
Project Manager

Graham has over 30 years’ experience in the Construction Industry. Unlike many project managers, Graham has his roots in Architectural Technology and Construction and Design Management rather than Quantity Surveying.  This grounding provides the practice and project management role with additional skill sets and traits, such as creativity in problem solving and conceptual understanding in strategic planning; in addition to experience of coordinating design from within design practices. 

Skills in Project Management have been developed from early roles of ‘job running’ and Lead Design Coordinator, to full Project Management responsibilities include management of all stages of a project from: project definition; appointment of consultants; design team co-ordination; tender and contractor negotiations; contractor appraisals; tenant negotiations; liaison with client teams, lawyers, funds, and other stakeholders; and contract administration.

Adam Hayward BA Hons, MBA, MSc
Project Surveyor

Adam has been with the company since 2014 and is a flexible and approachable project and operations professional that is complemented by an MBA in Strategic Management. He has over seven year’s professional development in leadership and project management and has completed an MSc in Construction Management, which has enriched his construction knowledge on a technical basis. Adam has worked on various projects including residential refurbishments, new production, and commercial units plus the Cambridge Ice Arena project. 

Steven Dicks BSc, Dip Proj Man, MBA, MAPM, MRICS
Director

Steven has been with MWH for over 10 years as Director. His vast experience in quantity surveying and building consultancy is supported with his expertise in Project Management, which have been essential in various projects in the UK and around the world including Abu Dhabi and Tel Aviv.

Steven has worked in the construction industry for over 20 years in roles including Director of Gleeds Europe and many roles within EC Harris. He is a Professional Member of Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and Member of the Association for Project Management.

David Petrie MRICS
Project Surveyor

David is an experienced Project Manager and Quantity Surveyor with significant expertise in all aspects of related services.  This expertise extends across a broad range of sectors including education, health, retail, residential and commercial, on projects ranging in value from <£100k up to £100million.  He has progressed through all grades to his latest role as Senior QS with Monro White Hilton.  Over the years David has worked with many clients representing a wide variety of sectors.  David also has experience in many forms of procurement and is both contractually and commercially aware

Maurice Stockton MRICS
Quantity Surveyor

A senior surveyor with many years experience Maurice has been Project Monitor for two major NAMA projects in Wapping Lane Phase 2 and Providence Tower. Maurice’s eye for detail and thoroughness is his key attribute and is vital to the accurate and practical reporting requirements that NAMA demand.
